Our client — a 200-person services company — needs a staff accountant to own month-end close, reconciliations and audit schedules, reporting to a controller who invests in developing the team.

Responsibilities & Requirements
What You'll Do
- Lead month-end close, journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Prepare audit schedules and support the annual external audit.
- Partner with AP/AR on clean, on-time vendor and customer cycles.
- Improve close checklists and documentation as the firm scales.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's in accounting or finance; CPA track a plus.
- 3+ years of general-ledger and close experience.
- Advanced Excel; ERP experience (NetSuite or similar) preferred.
- Authorization to work in the US; local to The Woodlands area.
